The seat looks like new. The first owner bought it, made three new ones, found out that it didn't fit him and bought another one, then it hung in his closet for x years. I bought it last year, flew it for about 20 hours and switched to a lighter one with an inflatable protector. There is only one small defect on the seat from a harder landing on the gravel - a tear in the padding on the edge of the seat board, otherwise it is not worn, scuffed, torn, ripped anywhere. It just looks like a seat after 20 hours in the air. The seat has a proper foam protector that reaches under the entire back (this was the primary reason why I bought it, in the tests the protector was probably the best of the competition, ideal as a first cocoon), three-speed speed, light carabiners (I flew on steel ones, I have more confidence in them - the original dural ones have a raid within 2 hours), a large suitcase and all the other positives and social security :).
